Beef and Parmesan Linguine

Ingredients
1 to 1 1/4 pounds Ground Beef. Try and use 80/20 fat content and higher or you will need to drain beef.
8 oz( half box) Linguine
16oz(one pint) Heavy Whipping Cream * if using whole box of pasta double cream
Half of one Sweet Onion
Handful of Fresh Parsley
3-5 Cloves of Garlic
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
2 Tablespoons of Butter
1 Cup grated Parmesan Cheese *if using whole box of pasta add additional half cup*
2 Tablespoons Salt
Red Pepper Flakes *Optional*
Seasonings
2 teaspoons of each.
*Add an extra teaspoon of each if using whole box of pasta*

Chop up onion, parsley and garlic and sit aside.
Heat skillet with cooking oil and butter
Cook onions in oil on medium heat for 5 mins stirring frequent as not to burn.
Add ground beef let cook for 5 mins without touching.
Stir and season with 1 teaspoon of each seasoning and cooking for another 5 mins or to your liking(browning). Take out of pan and sat aside.
*If any large amounts of grease remove from pan*
Add garlic cloves to pan and fragrant for 3 mins.
While Garlic is cooking place on your water for pasta and add 2 tablespoons of salt to water. Once water boils add pasta and cook for six minutes. Do not drain Do not overcook
Once garlic is cooked add whipping cream and parsley to pan (leaving some parsley for garnishing later).
Add another teaspoon of each seasoning to sauce and simmer on a medium heat.
Once light simmered cut heat off and add parmesan a little at a time while whisking.
Once cheese is incorporated return beef to sauce.
When pasta is done turn sauce back on low and add pasta directly from pasta water to sauce. Stir
Add 1-2 cups of pasta water (no more and one cup at a time) stir and simmer for 5 mins covered stirring once in between.
Plate, garnish and serve adding red pepper flakes if you choose.
